About The Refuge Christian Church
It’s all about jesus
We are a church who serves one purpose, to connect people to God by leading them into a lasting relationship with Jesus Christ. We love people and we love life. We strive to be a church where everyone is welcomed no matter who they are. We live by the motto that there is “No Perfect People Allowed”. We believe that we are all busted and broken people who need the love of the Savior. We hope to see you soon!

THE REFUGE CHRISTIAN CHURCH WAS FOUNDED IN 2013
Lead pastor Brian DeTalente had a vision of creating a church that people from all backgrounds would love to attend. Since opening it's doors, TRCC has experienced incredible growth, and are planning very soon to build new facilities on our current property.
Brian has been married to his wife Laura since July of 2000 and they have 3 boys, Trevor, Travis and Samuel.

about God -
God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three personalities: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.

ABOUT JESUS CHRIST -
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless, human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven’s glory and will return again someday to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT -
The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He gives every believer a spiritual gift when they are saved. As Christians, we seek to live under His control daily.

ABOUT THE BIBLE -
The Bible is God’s Word to us. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is the truth without any mixture of error.

WHAT TO EXPECT
WHAT TO EXPECT
You don’t have to be a Christian to come to The Refuge Christian Church. We want you to know that you can belong before you believe. Every weekend we speak both to people who have questions about Jesus and to people who are fully committed to what He is all about.
Full disclosure: the only requirement we have for attending TRCC is that there are no perfect people allowed.
Here’s what you can expect at a Sunday service:
The band will play some songs to remind us of who God is and what He has done. At The Refuge, we like it loud.
We’ll receive our tithes and offerings (in other words, the financial giving that supports what we do here and around the world) in some very impressive buckets.
The pastor will share an inspiring message from the Bible that will help encourage us to grow individually and as a community.
After about one hour, the service is over. Drop your Connection card off at Connection Corner, then hang out with us as long as you want!
